The project involves curating a collection of 20+ matchbooks, each representing moments, memories, and unique designs. The objective was to capture, transform, and present these everyday artifacts as a nostalgic digital archive. The target audience includes design enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone interested in visual storytelling. The main constraints included sourcing high-quality scans, designing an engaging digital experience, and creating a cohesive presentation using AR for immersive interaction.

The process of making it virtual, screenshot from adobe aero. The process was a bit hard to get down at first, with lots of trial and error. Thanks to other creatives who already made the 3d blank model, I was able to use it and overlay a picture of each match. This method kept everything from proportion to image more realistic.
The matchbook collection was curated for its visual appeal and nostalgic value. High-resolution scans and detailed photos documented each item, capturing intricate designs. A minimal web interface was chosen for a clean presentation, allowing the matchbooks to stand out. Adobe Aero was used to create an immersive AR experience, enhancing viewer engagement. The project maintained a cohesive visual style with a vintage color palette and typography, unifying the digital display and reflecting the character of the collection.
